Office Services During COVID-19
Office-base Appointments
The office is opened for office-base appointments. There will be more stringent infection control measures that are in accordance with the Ohio Governor's recommendations. Patients do have the choice of teletherapy as an option. Check with your insurance for coverage details. A patient may also opt to pay out of pocket if there is no insurance coverage for the service.
Mask are required during an in-office appointment.
Office Based Procedures
Prior to coming in for an office based appointment, information will be provided to a patient prior to attending an office based appointment. The information will include office policies and procedures for an office-based appointment and consent to treat in the office during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Patients
Please follow these guide when coming for an office-based appointment:
- Do not come into the office if you, a family member, or anyone attending your appointment has
- Had a fever in the last 14 days (check you temperature before the appointment)
- Tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
- Traveled to a high COVID area in the last 14 days. - Please wait in your vehicle or outside of the building until your time of the appointment.
- Staff and patients must wear a mask when entering the building and for the duration of the appointment.
- When entering the building please wash your hand or use hand sanitizer for 20 seconds prior to the session.
Telehealth Services : Convenient and Flexible
Rush Clinical Practice wants to ensure we do our part to meet that goal and ensure safety of patients and staff. Rush Clinical Practice offers telehalth/video chat appointments.
Telehealth offers flexible scheduling and is convenient for those with busy schedules or need to continue to maintain social distance during the pandemic. Research is growing and demonstrating that telehealth outcomes are just as effective as office-based appointments.
